So, I only have 3 weeks left in my Fall semester with school (my college semesters run a little differently). I'm excited to finish with my classes... right up until I realize that my spring classes start the week that my fall classes end. *sigh* I pretty much don't get a break from school until I graduate spring 2008. School and work have been taking up a majority of my time. I haven't had the kind of time that I want to work on art. Unfortunately, this means that I've left many of my pieces unfinished, which is why I haven't had many updates. For everyone who has been supportive, I thank you. I'm not sure when I will be updating next, but I'll still be around commenting. Any updates that I put up will most likely be photographs. While I haven't had much time to draw, I have been dragging my camera around with me everywhere. And, I have a new project with my model friend. We're trying to do another photo-shoot. So I will hopefully have something posted soon.

As I sat outside the other day, I came to the realization that the summer is ending... another season gone.
I have learned a lot over this summer, more so than any other time in my life. I have learned what it truly means to hurt and be hurt in return. I have learned the cost of love. I have learned what it means to be a true friend. I have learned what it means to be no friend at all. I have learned that one phone call can make the difference in everything. I have learned what it means to be cautious. I have learned what it means to let everything go. I have re-learned to be more open. I have learned to truly forgive both others and myself. I have learned more about who I am and what that means to me.
I have also forgotten a lot too. I've forgotten what it feels like to cry. I've forgotten why it was that I used to fight. I've forgotten my inhibitions. I’ve forgotten my hate. I’ve forgotten my love of the game. I’ve forgotten who I used to be.
I have become someone more. I have become more complete. I have let go. I have found myself.

I passed my motorcycle saftey course... which means that I can go to the MVA later this week and get my license!! I am so excited!! (Now all I need is the money to buy a motorcycle.... that and a place to store it )

Alright... so what is up w/ not calling me? I mean am I that un-cool that I don't deserve a single phone call? You'll call your other friends and let them know what is going on... and who ends up being the last one to know b/c I had to find out through someone else, and not even you? This seems to be a common trend... and not w/ just one of my friends... it seems to be with a few of them. I hate being the last to know, and its even worse when I have to find out through someone else. I am not your convenience... I am not going to wait around forever for you to get your $hit together... I am not going to waste my time waiting for a call that could possibly come. I am better than that, and contrary to popular belief, I have better things to do than deal with your sorry @ss being stupid.

So yea... it's the middle of summer here... and it only keeps getting hotter (thank god I work inside). I've been preoccupied with school (my class right now is sucking up a lot of my time), the usual drama that seems to be stuck to me like glue nowadays (if you have something stupid, irrelevant, and not involving me at all... it was probably my fault... so blame me b/c it seems to be the common trend around me lately ) and I've been trying to get things on my car fixed up.

I do have some art in the works... and I promise that as soon as I finish it... you will all be the first to know.
