Brrrrrrr.....

I had a really hard time motivating myself to get out of bed this morning. The weather has been really cold (after it teased us with a 75oF day on Monday of course). I pretty much just didn’t want to get out of my warm bed to go and have to spend at least 15 minutes scraping all the ice off of my car (after the 5 minute walk to get to it). But, I somehow motivated myself… which is how I’m putting this down right now.

So I’m currently in the middle of my final semester for my Bachelor’s degree. My senior project is kicking my butt. I’m in the middle of research – which is turning out to be much harder than I had originally planned on :sigh: But I’m grinding it out. I’ve also just gotten back into riding after a year and a half break. I’m going to get to show my horse Mira this year. I can’t wait until my first show at the end of April. I’ve waited so long for her to get old enough for me to ride her – and now that time is here :dance:

I found out about my new workgroup today. I’m in a group with some really talented artists. It really motivates me to want to draw more. I want to get better, and I want to keep expanding. So hopefully I will get some art out soon.

warm :hug: have your husband buy a remote car starter. [link] Believe me it is worth the mola. I think they cost about 100 dollars. I know they do here, that includes them installing it. Circuit city or best buy should carry them. With a remote you can start your car and even turn your lights on and unlock your doors if you want.

OH yeah go buy a Snowmobile suit[link]

Oooh, I know where you're coming from...mornings can be torture. D< It's so hard to leave your nice warm bed. Where I live, the season is at the worst point of the winter to spring change, which basically means that we freeze our butts off in the mornings and nights, and suffer in the heat of the afternoons. XD

Btw, it's great to be in the workgroup with you, too! :glomp:

Lol - My boyfriend bought me one last year. The only problem is that my car is to far away from the house. I have to walk down the block just to get close enough to remote start it ^_^; But we're moving soon... so then I can just stay inside and start my car!

P.S. - love the snowmobile suit! I may have to get one simply b/c I am always complaining of being cold.

We've been all over the place temperature wise. Last week it was 75 on Monday, then it went down to below 30 with freezing rain and snow. Mostly its been anywhere from 20's to 40's the past few weeks. The weather likes to tease us here. =p

Thanks for the luck - and my senior project isn't as bad as it would seem I guess (but maybe that's because I've been through 4 years of big papers before this too). Good luck on your junior paper too!

OOOOO didnt now that. I admire him even more now. But he should get up and go start your car for you and then drive it to your front door.. LOL
The suit is one of the best investments you can make in my opinion. But make sure you look for what is comfortable for you. First dont buy a suit that is rated for 20 below, if your weather never gets below 5 below. Cause you will sweat. When you get in you car I recommend unzipping it, cause they do get warm. That or leave the heater off. The second thing I recommend is get a pair of self heating snow boots. Let me know how it goes.
